New Students
You may see a few new faces around soon. We’re being joined by Yasmeen Khan, Eman Khawandanh, and Chun-jui (Anderson) Hu. Yasmeen and Eman will be supervised by Cheryl for their master’s degrees (they started coursework in 2013). Anderson will be supervised by Brad for a M.Eng project over the summer. Welcome!
Recent Graduations
Congratulations to students Rob Kosztyla (PhD) and Francis Viel (MSc) on the successful publication of their theses. Rob successfully defended his thesis and will take up a residency in Calgary starting in September. Francis published his thesis on the 13th. Congratulations!
Medical Physics residency position, filled
The Vancouver centre residency will be filled by Nevin McVicar. He will be joining us on July 2nd. Congrats, Nevin!
VMAT Course
The Spring 2014 VMAT course runs from May 1st to 3rd at VCC. Drs. Luca Cozzi and Karl Otto will be giving special guest lectures. More information is available here.
Retirement News
William Kwa has announced that, after more than 30 years of service, he will retire. May 31st will be his last day of work with the BCCA. Best of luck, William!
